Today I post a link to the buy page for Mind Over Matter.
This is it. Right here => Mind Over Matter
How cool is that? It’s kind of surreal for me. My book is out there for everyone to see, to read, to judge. It scary and exhilarating at the same time.
And while I post this I have, on the desk in front of me, a list of things to pack as I prepare to leave for Montreal tomorrow with fellow MuseItUp author Kevin Craig and his wife. November 4/5/6, MuseItUp Publishing is hosting their first retreat. Writers from around the world will gather for a three-day event that includes a huge book signing extravaganza at Zellers Pointe Claire on Saturday, November 5, from 1 to 5 pm.
If you live in the vicinity, come and meet our authors that day and have a chance to win one of several door prizes, including 500,000 Club Z points offered by Zellers to one lucky winner.
Muse is also hosting a Friday night gala event, as well as dinner, then an evening at a comedy club Saturday night to wind down from an exciting weekend.
I’d planned to attend back when my book was still scheduled for release next January. Muse, being the kind of publisher they are, wanted to add to my enjoyment of this trip by escalating the editing process and arranging to have both the electronic and print versions of the book ready in time for the book signing. I can’t begin to describe the scrambling that went on behind the scenes to make this happen. Many people adjusted already busy schedules to make this a reality. I bow my head in thanks to each and every one.
This weekend away is not in honour of my book’s release, that is just a wonderful coincidence. But isn’t it nice to have a debut novel kick off in such style? I’m incredibly humbled and grateful to be able to attend and share my excitement with a generous and talented group of authors.
Thank You to MuseItUp Publishing for spending the time and resources to support and showcase your authors! We appreciate all that you do.
